On October 2, 2026, AI Japan announced the launch of LEAK GUARD, a Chrome extension for businesses.
LEAK GUARD checks text on the user’s device immediately before it is sent to ChatGPT on the web. It blocks detected API keys and other specified sensitive data, and warns users about detected email addresses and phone numbers.
Administrators can review masked detection records in the management console. The Japanese press release describes the features and terms announced at launch.
