AI Chat “Portal Chat” Launches
with One-Line Website Integration

Portal Chat displayed in the lower-right corner of a website

AI Japan has launched Portal Chat, an embeddable AI chat product with external-site crawling.

Portal Chat can be added to an existing website with a single script tag. It turns public website content into searchable knowledge and answers visitor or internal questions while showing the source pages it referenced.

Turn website content into
knowledge that can answer.

01

Install with one line

Add a script tag to your existing HTML to display a self-contained AI chat interface—without rebuilding the entire site.

02

Answers and sources together

Responses stream in alongside separate source-page titles and URLs, with support for follow-up questions in the same conversation.

03

Use crawled public content

Configure a starting URL, crawl depth, and maximum page count to build searchable knowledge for both visitor and admin chat.

Designed for secure operations
beyond initial deployment.

The admin console lets teams register and edit sites, monitor crawling and learning progress, and review captured pages, questions, conversations, and users. The public widget is separated from administrative functions, while multiple safeguards cover admin API authorization, SSRF protection against internal addresses, and respect for robots.txt and Crawl-delay.

Get started in four steps.

  1. 01Register your site

Set the target URL and crawl scope.

  2. 02Crawl and learn

Build searchable knowledge from public pages.

  3. 03Add one line

Add the script tag to your existing HTML.

  4. 04Review and publish

Check answers and source pages, then go live.
